Campsite rules

Rules and guidelines for a pleasant stay

Every guest, visitor or overnight guest who visits and stays at our campsite is expected to behave properly and not cause any nuisance to others. This is a simple rule of courtesy that everyone should observe, together with the more specific rules below that make a stay at our campsite pleasant for everyone.

Pitches

  1. The camping season runs from 1 April to 30 September.
  2. Your tent, caravan or motorhome must be placed in consultation with the campsite manager.
  3. The pitch must be left clean and tidy on departure.
  4. Agreements are personal and therefore not transferable.

Visitors and overnight guests

  1. Visitors and overnight guests must report to reception on arrival. Guests must inform their visitors of the rules in advance and ask them to observe them. Day visitors pay a visitor’s fee of €3.50 per person per day. Visitors may stay on site until 10 pm at the latest.
  2. Overnight visitors must report to reception in advance so they can be entered in our night register and pay the overnight rate of €5 per person per night, plus tourist tax where applicable.

Traffic

Always park your car in the car park.

  1. Cars and motorbikes must not drive faster than 5 km/h (walking pace) on site.
  2. Mopeds and scooters must be parked near the restaurant, where a space has been set up. Riding them on site is not allowed.
  3. Visitors’ cars are not allowed on site and can be parked in the car park outside the barrier.
  4. Dutch traffic regulations apply on site.
  5. Loading and unloading goods is allowed in consultation with the management.

Pets

  1. A maximum of 2 pets (dogs/cats) per pitch is allowed on site.
  2. Visitors’ pets are allowed under the same conditions as set out in these rules.
  3. Pets must be vaccinated against rabies.
  4. Pets must be kept on a lead at all times on site. Pets running loose are not allowed on the adjoining beaches either.
  5. Pets can be walked on a lead outside the site along the dyke or in the adjacent meadow or beaches; owners must clean up after their pets immediately.
  6. Pets are not allowed in the toilet building or the launderette.
  7. When (temporarily) leaving the site, you may not leave your pet unattended at your tent or caravan.

Fire safety

  1. Open fires and campfires by the caravan, motorhome or tent are prohibited on site. You can make a campfire at the designated places by the water.
  2. Barbecuing is only allowed on your own pitch. Take the wind direction into account so you disturb your neighbours as little as possible; place the barbecue at a sufficient distance from your tent or caravan; barbecuing directly on the ground is not allowed.
  3. Anything other than a barbecue is not allowed (fire baskets, smokers, etc.).
  4. Never throw away a burning cigar, cigarette or match. The consequences can be disastrous.
  5. Storing hazardous substances is prohibited.

Waste

  1. Please separate your waste as much as possible. Put ordinary household waste (residual waste) in closed bin bags in the designated containers.
  2. Garden waste and bulky waste may not be put in the container.
  3. Guests must take garden and bulky waste to the municipal waste site.
  4. Hazardous waste (paint, turpentine, aerosol cans) must be handed in at the municipal waste site.
  5. Guests must keep their pitch free of litter.
